Decision Releases

Students who are accepted to Lafayette and who have a mailing address in the United States are sent an acceptance packet via US Mail. Students can access the information found in the acceptance packet through their Lafayette portal. The Office of Admissions releases decisions for all students via the Lafayette portal according to the following dates:

  • Early Decision I: 4 pm on December 15, 2020
  • Early Decision II: 4 pm on February 15, 2021
  • Regular Decision: 4 pm March 24, 2021

Once you log into your portal, click on Status Update. Please be sure to view ALL of your documents, including your admissions letter and your financial aid letter, if you applied for financial aid, in order to be able to enroll. Click on the “Reply to Offer of Admission” and follow the instructions.

Enrollment Deadlines

Login to your portal, accept your offer of admission and pay your $750 nonrefundable matriculation fee by the following deadlines:

  • Early Decision I: Tuesday, January 5, 2021
  • Early Decision II: Monday, March 1, 2021
  • Regular Decision: Saturday, May 1, 2021

Enrollment Agreement

Enrollment deposits are nonrefundable.  By submitting your deposit, you are agreeing to the following statement: I agree to enroll at Lafayette College. I subscribe further to the following passage from the “Statement of the Rights and Responsibilities of Students” adopted by the students, faculty, and trustees of Lafayette College: “By matriculating at Lafayette, the student signifies a willingness to contribute to the learning of others, to promote the welfare of the College, and to adhere to the regulations established by the College.”

Wire Transfer Instructions for International Students
